When would you like to stay at Hotel Oriental Express Tokyo Ginza?

About Hotel Oriental Express Tokyo Ginza

Lodge at the art gallery-style Hotel Oriental Express Tokyo Ginza, and fully immerse yourself into the local art scene of Ginza: Japan's very own Town of Art. Recently opened on July 26th, 2019, the property accentuates an all-white tone for the lobby and suites, complemented by hints of silvers and warm tones from carefully picked wall-hanging artworks to the theme of Japan's four seasons.

Speaking about artworks, not only can you freely admire and move around the lobby-cum-gallery of the hotel, but you can also propose to purchase a certain artwork if they fancy it, further making this hotel experience even more whimsical and surreal compared to other establishments.

Each of the 103 rooms is covered by lively flower-themed murals, with each room type tailored to fit multiple groups and purposes:
Oriental Single (37 rooms)
Oriental Double (9 rooms)
Oriental Twin (48 rooms)
Oriental Twin with Bathtub (8 rooms)
Oriental Universal (1 room)

Apart from the Oriental Single, each room at Hotel Oriental Express Tokyo Ginza can accommodate up to two individuals. Every room is fully air-conditioned and equipped with a refrigerator (not stocked), multi-charger, safety deposit box, IC card security, flat-screen TV (43-inch), electric kettle, alarm clock with Bluetooth speaker, hangers, shoe polish, and air freshener.

Your en-suite bathroom includes a negative ion hair dryer, stand mirror, nightwear, complimentary toiletries, bath towels, face towels, hairbrush, cotton pads, and cotton swabs, shaver, and disposable room slippers. More amenities can be added upon request at the reception desk, such as thermometer, nail clippers, humidifier, and a clothing steamer.

As for hotel facilities available to all guests in Hotel Oriental Express Tokyo Ginza, they include a 24-hour front desk, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel grounds, and kid-friendly buffet-style meals. Chargeable services include fax and photocopying machines, as well as the nightly parking fee on the hotel grounds for JPY 3000 (around S$37).

Start your day with a hearty Japanese and European breakfast buffet-style at the 25-seat Express Cafe. One recommended menu is the Chef-picked soup selection sourced from fresh seasonal ingredients, jump-starting your body with the much-needed energy for the day. Wash it all down with a wide selection of refreshing drinks such as delicately brewed coffee, herbal tea or matcha, or Japanese green tea, before you start your day.

Aside from the hotel's facilities and amenities, there are many must-visit landmarks and attractions around the hotel's area: one of them is the trendy shopping hotspot Ginza with numerous upscale boutiques and department stores. Secondly, the Chuo Ward district, is where the hotel is situated at, combines Tokyo's long-established financial and business area with the buzz of sophisticated nightlife, Michelin-star restaurants, and many other venues of high-end entertainment.

A super short 1-minute walk (100m) away from the hotel will bring you to Scart Gallery, another art gallery that houses contemporary creative artworks, while another 5-minute walk (400m) away lead you to the grand Shintomi Inari Shrine, or the traditional Tsukiji Fish Market, a haven for those who wish to quench their thirst for fresh Japanese seafood dishes or cultural foods like Monjayaki (Tokyo’s comfort food similar to okonomiyaki).

Reaching Hotel Oriental Express Tokyo Ginza only requires a reasonable 25-minute drive (17km) away from Haneda Airport or Tokyo International Airport. For those flying in directly from Singapore, the airport welcomes All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, and Singapore Airlines.
