Da Nang is known for its pristine coastlines where clean waters overlap. The seaside town offers many beaches, with some as close as less than 10 minutes away from the city centre. Take a look at our picks on which ones are the best.
The most popular because it’s the most accessible and arguably the most beautiful, My Khe stretches 20 miles to the east of Da Nang. Naturally, it is easy to pick a resort or restaurant to spend plenty of time by the water. Many also go over for fishing, snorkelling, jet-skiing or surfing. If you prefer to stay dry, just join the rest of the crowd who are sunbathing on the shores.

Non Nouc Beach
Non Nouc competes with My Khe in the ranks of beauty as it has a reputation for being one of the most beautiful in the world. There are many activities to do here even though it stretches only 5 km. A 20-minute drive from the centre takes you there, where you can also find the foot of Marble Mountains.

Bac My An
Many five-star resorts choose to congregate in this area that stretches about 4km. Some areas of the beach are private for guests, but there are also public areas where many tourists go to for kayaking, diving and windsurfing.

Lang Co Beach
Lang Co runs 10km, but it is considered a ‘hidden’ beach as it is mostly visited by locals and travellers who are travelling through Hai Van Pass. The view here is breathtaking as you can admire the mountain ranges from the coastline. You can take a hike up to Bach Ma National Park, which is 30km west from the beach.

Tien Sa Beach
Located at the western end of the Son Tra Mountains, its beauty lies in the fact that it mainly houses fishing villages. As part of the Son Tra Peninsula, this beach is considered as one of the hidden ones that is unspoilt by tourists. The beach is owned by a hotel and if you are not a guest, an entrance fee costs VND10,000.
