Potato Head Beach Club
Nobody makes it out of Bali before visiting this place. Whether you are there for the food at Kaum, the original cocktails or the DJ, there will be a reason (or excuse) to be there. There is an infinity pool by the beach front with decks and lounge sofas facing the sea. The crescent-shaped bar makes sure that you get a shot of the sea at any angle.
Insta-tip: Lounge in the infinity pool, with the sunset and the sea as your backdrop.

Ku De Ta
If you have only been to the one in Perth or the one that used to be in Singapore, you will know what to expect. The trendy look at Ku De Ta gives you a hint of the cocktails they offer. They even have a stylish boutique selling designer beach wear and clothing!
Insta-tip: Order a drink with the words Ku De Ta on it!

Rock Bar at AYANA Resort and Spa, BALI
Part of the AYANA Resort and Spa, BALI, this place is all glitz and glam because it has a dress code. It keeps the shabbily-dressed out and makes sure that humans fit right into the swanky bar. Definitely a place not to miss. Be prepared for the funicular queue – the waiting time can be more than half an hour.
Insta-tip: This shot will define your location at the Rock Bar: a great view of the rocks in the sea when you are on one of the terraces.

A speakeasy, the coordinates to this bar may leave you wandering on the street as it is hidden. Located on top of IZE Hotel’s in-house restaurant, Meja Kitchen, the only way in is via a nondescript wide staircase beside Meja. This place has the 1920s feel of heavy oak panels and plush chesterfield armchairs. They also streamline the way their guests look with a no-tanktop dresscode. The name gives you a hint that this place doesn’t serve your regular cocktails but an extensive selection of whiskies.
Insta-tip: The ceiling looks like they sliced off a portion of the Esplanade in Singapore – triangular pointed edges that will make a great composition for your picture.

Cocoon Beach Club
Here's your modern poolside kind of bar with sand-coloured floors and furnishing, canopies and daybeds. Just jump on one and you can have privacy in a popular setting. There is a private pool for those who would like to go for a dip. You can frolic around with your mates on those floats, but remember your make-up!
Insta-tip: Chilling by the pool with a Sweet Summertime (Cocoon’s Balinese spin on the Lychee Martini) in one hand and a shisha pipe in the other.
A typical beach bar, except that it is branded W. Anything under the W Bali - Seminyak has a reputation for being trendy and chic and that’s why you’d wanna be there. You can’t go wrong with the giant spheres lit over your lounge chairs and cocktails with names like Earl Grey & Mandarin Sour.
Insta-tip: The big W sign.

Baker Street Social
Similar to Bar 68, this is another speakeasy. Look for a tiny door between the Indian and Greek restaurants and you will find yourself in Bali’s best kept secret. Guests speak of fabulous cocktails and friendly bartenders. The vintage feel and cozy atmosphere attract the casually fine-browed.
Insta-tip: The well-dressed bartenders deserve to be in your shot. Catch them in action when they make your cocktails.
