Escape the city and take a trip from Bangkok To Khao Yai for an experience that will make you come back for more. Here are the must-see Khao Yai attractions!

This national park offers an abundance of hiking trails and a UNESCO site. This has been the next big thing and you should have a go at it too.

If you haven’t heard of Khao Yai, you must be living in a well. It has recently been crazily popular amongst tourists, and you need to grab a share of that pie. Possible with a day trip, you can escape the heavy traffic and city’s bustle and surround yourself with lush mountainous landscape which is, by the way, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They offer not just nature but a vineyard and a Tuscan village apart from many other highlights. What should you see if you have only a few hours?

WHAT TO SEE

Head to The Bloom by TV Pool, which is a must for Instagram content. Flowers bloom and you can go wild in the garden of flora. You should be done with the area in less than 2 hours and thereafter, you can head to Primo Piazza to feel like you have teleported to Tuscany. You can choose from spending time feeding adorable merino sheep, donkeys and alpacas, or spamming your Instagram account with photos of the terraced buildings and nicely trimmed garden. There’s a café where you can kill those hunger pangs, but we suggest you leave some space for Palio Village that’s not just about food of course. This place really makes you feel like you have bought a ticket to Italy. The flowers hanging on the balcony are nice touches you’d not even notice because you’d be so busy admiring the whole setting – the cobblestoned streets and colourful buildings. The selection of restaurants here are better than at the previous stop, so you can properly have a (late) lunch here. Next up would be wine, so don’t load up on the alcohol just yet. At PB Valley Winery, you can tour the vineyards and admire the stunning scenery. If you prefer to lunch with a view, you can head to this place. We were just afraid you might get too carried away with tasting wine and harvesting grapes (available mid-January to February). Next up is dessert at The Chocolate Factory. You probably won’t have time to learn how to make chocolate, but you can taste chocolate. Their signature chocolate lava cake should go on your dessert platter, and then you are free to select from a wide range of chocolate made with the finest imported ingredients from Belgium, Switzerland and France. Your high sugar levels should leave a sweet ending to the day spent!
