Within the Bali selfie park lies every Instagrammer's dream; the famous Bali swing. Find out more on what the selfie park has to offer and how to get there!
Drop whatever it is you're doing and get in here. BALI has a selfie park!!! And is it all the hype the internet says it is? Well, bring your mobile phone cameras along and find out!
The locals have noticed that “have selfies will travel”, so they have ingeniously set up this Selfie Park for Instagram spammers. Hidden in the north of Bali is a photogenic landscape that is soon to become a hotspot. Known as “selfie park”, “Wisata Selfie Park” or Danau Buyan Lake, you can still confidently post photos of your selfies there and have people wonder which hidden trove in Bali that is.
Danau Buyan Lake is the gorgeous background that some small parks are set against. Each park has a couple of unique bamboo and wooden structures that make fantastic installations for your photos. There are about four different parks and each costs just IDR10,000 to enter.
These structures include a huge bird’s nest, a swing, a hand, a boat and a love sign. The swing hangs from a huge sturdy tree, but go easy on the swinging!
The bamboo lookout is a great vantage point to admire the resplendent landscape when you are done posing for your pictures!
Nest yourself comfortably in the giant bird’s nest that makes an amazing picture with the mountains behind you.
Want some greenery? Try this bird’s nest instead.
Sold? So how do you get there? The GPS coordinates are not clear and there isn’t an official address at the moment, but it is best to head north towards Jalan Raya Wanagiri. The best way there is on scooter or by car. A hired driver should be able to get you to the right area as the parks are not difficult to spot.
