Overview
The former residence for King Rama I to King Rama V of the Rattanakosin Kingdom, known today as the Grand Palace, is an iconic landmark in Bangkok. The stunning intricate design of the gold exterior of the palace is a sight not to be missed when in the Land of Smiles. Within the grounds of the palace is where one of Thailand's most sacred temples resides, better known as Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha).
